*Assumption of Risk:

I, the undersigned parent or legal guardian, understand that participation in this program involves direct or indirect contact with animals. I acknowledge that animals, even those well-trained, can be unpredictable. Risks include, but are not limited to, bites, scratches, allergic reactions, slips, falls, or other physical harm. I voluntarily assume all risks associated with my child’s participation in this program.

*Waiver and Release:

In consideration for my child’s participation in K.I.D.S (Kids Interacting with Dogs Safely), I hereby release, waive, discharge, and hold harmless ABTK9, its owners, trainers, employees, volunteers, agents, and property owners from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, or causes of action arising out of or related to any loss, damage, or injury — including death — that may be sustained by my child, myself, or any property, whether caused by negligence or otherwise

Personal Property:

I understand and agree that ABTK9 and its affiliates are not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal belongings.

*Medical Treatment:

In the event of an accident, injury, or medical emergency, I authorize ABTK9 staff or representatives to seek or provide medical care as deemed necessary for my child’s wellbeing. I accept full financial responsibility for any treatment rendered.

Acknowledgment:

I certify that I have read and fully understand this Waiver and Release of Liability. I am signing it freely and voluntarily, understanding that this document waives certain legal rights I or my child may have in the event of injury, loss, or damage.
